100% silicone containers

This is eight 100% silicone containers. These are pretty good, they are on the stiffer side (I consider that a good thing) thr lids go on without smashing the bottom. They stack well with or without the lids attached without falling over, but not much,if any space is saved by stacking them separately. They don't click to each other like some brands do nor do they nest particularly well(as pictured).They seam to form an air tight seal. I left one sideways over night with water in it and the container was empty by morning. These will work well for dry ingredients and moist things like fresh or drained canned fruit, sauces. They work fine for pudding, jello, and vegetables. These won't work well for soup, but they are a bit small for that anyway. These work grate as portion control containers.I have found it easy to pack a healthy lunch, in the morning. When the time comes I prefer my packed lunch over eating out, because it is less expensive, and almost certainly healthier. It really helps me feel good about what I am doing to keep my self healthy/manage my weight. These could help with those goals in particular.However i am picky, I prefer lunch containers that don't leak no matter what position they are in and no matter what is inside of them but, those are a bit difficult to find infact my whole life I have only found one brand that is leak proof.

Versatile containers with purpose

These silicone containers have been a wonderful find for me. Its the perfect size for the reasons I grabbed them.These were great for making portioned out pudding cups for my kids. They worked well portioning out exactly 4 ounces of herbal infused butter I made. They hold one serving of grapes in my kids lunches, some hair ties and clips when we went on a weekend trip. The seal is great too, Ive sent yogurt in them in a lunch bag and there wasnt any spillage.The $19 price is a bit steep. I cant say I would pay this much but I wasn't looking for this exact item, but Im always looking for lunch box containers to replace plastic stuff I have to buy over and over again. These have been through my dishwasher a few times without any breakdown and plastic only lasts maybe 3 times before it's trashed.In my opinion, thats a little high in price but I AM really pleased with the quality and versatility.

More Than Just Meal Prep Containers

I originally grabbed these for basic meal prep but they’ve quickly become my favorite kitchen hack for saving fresh ingredients. The 1/2 cup size is actually the sweet spot for things you don't want to see go to waste.I’ve started making "flavor bombs" by sautéing a huge batch of onions, garlic, and ginger and freezing them in these portions. It's so much faster to just pop one into a pan on a busy weeknight. It's also been a lifesaver for fresh herbs. Instead of letting parsley or cilantro go bad in the fridge, I chop them up, cover them in olive oil, and freeze them in these molds. It's a great way to preserve everything and makes life easier during the week.Beyond the cooking side, they make the coolest giant square ice cubes for cocktails. I like to freeze a piece of fruit or a sprig of an herb right in the middle to make drinks look a bit more fancy and flavorful. Since it's silicone, the cubes pop right out without any struggle.It's also worth noting that they are super easy to clean. I love that they're dishwasher safe, so I can just toss them in after I pop the frozen portions out. The lids fit well and they stack neatly in my freezer. It’s a great way to stay organized and keep portions consistent too.

Great quality product for a very reasonable price.

This is an 8 piece set of 1/2 cup silicone freezer molds. They are BPA free. They are suitable for the freezer, oven, and microwave. They’re actually designed to go directly from the freezer to the microwave or oven for reheating food ( just be sure to remove the lids before reheating). I like that these are portioned for 1/2 cup. I am watching my weight and I do a lot of meal prepping, so these molds are ideal for my purposes. They are dishwasher safe or can easily be hand washed. I really like how the molds are designed. They’re non stick and very flexible. It’s very easy to pop out frozen items with a simple twist or push. You don’t have to struggle to get frozen foods out of the molds. I froze 1/2 cup portions of soups and broths and it was so easy to just pop them out. I think I’ll get a lot of use out of these. I think this is a great product and a good value for the price - especially considering that you get 8 of them. I’d definitely recommend them - especially for anyone who regularly does meal prepping.

Pretty small, hard to pop food out of

Overall, these boxes are small but easy to use. They're good for making and freezing your own bouillon or sauce, not so much for portion-sized food. I wouldn't recommend them for meal prep - only for dips, sauces, etc.They are made of silicone and are dishwasher safe; they can go in the oven, microwave, freezer, fridge - everything, basically. Very versatile and durable material.They are easy to open and close, fit pretty much anywhere, and stack easily. I like the color as well.When I made split pea soup and froze it, I found that it stuck to the sides and I had to physically separate it before turning the container inside out to get the soup out. I wasn't very happy about that. I had to push really hard to get it to pop out. So it's difficult to remove the contents.The size is the biggest concern: they are only 3.4 oz, which is comically tiny for food. Think of them as dip, sauce, or concentrate containers, not really food containers. They're watertight because they seal really well, so they're perfect for that.
