Durable Bags for Just About Anything
These bags are made to stand up to abuse, and the zipper seal works great. I used a few to break up a 60-pound bag of dog food and another to store a pot of stew in the freezer. With the stew, there was no leaking after I closed the zipper seal, even when I held the bag upside down. They were easy to clean by hand after I thawed the stew, though, as others have noted, I wouldn’t put them in the dishwasher. Overall, I’m happy with them. Just be aware that these bags are huge. Each one holds about 20 pounds of dog food or could fit two pairs of folded pants.

Super large, strong zippers & great for storage, but some questions on food/heat use
I've been trying to find ways to go "greener" and use more sustainable products, and that includes trying to move away from single use plastic bags. I picked up this set of extra-large bags to try, and overall I’m pretty happy with them for general storage and hauling things around. However, there are a couple of caveats I’d want future buyers to keep in mind. Some of the things I really liked:The size is impressive, these bags hold a LOT. If you’ve ever struggled to find big enough bags for things like throw blankets, sweaters, or other bulky items, these are the answer. The zippers feel tough and secure. I appreciate that the closure feels like it will hold up under stress (lots of stuff inside, weight, moving around). They also fold down pretty compact for storage. They’re well-constructed overall; when filled, they seem reliable and not like they’ll collapse or tear quickly. Good for general storage, moving, or seasonal items. I also put some water in them, and when held upside down, nothing leaked. That being said, while they’re great for storing general items, I have questions about dishwasher safety or hot food use. I could have sworn when I got these, they had a picture in the listing of the bags in the dishwasher, but now that is gone. However, if you look at the listing for the other sizes, the picture is still there, and that says dishwasher safe, but the words in the description say not to wash in the dishwasher. That is a bit confusing and misleading. Also, they are made of PEVA, the same type of material that non-toxic shower curtains are made of. While PEVA is generally food safe, there are debates on how safe it is under heat, so I would make sure you cool down anything you plan to put in these bags.I would still recommend these bags, but I will likely use them more for general storage and packing for travel.

Amazing washable and reusable freezer bags
These bags are absolutely amazing. They are perfect for storing food in the refrigerator, freezer or pantry. They easy to use and wash. They are durable and reusable which is perfect for someone trying to reduce their eco footprint. Foods freeze well and do not get frost burnt. The bags seal very well and really tightly. After washing there is no residue or smell left from the previously stored items. These bags are also color coded with orange and blue tops.

Great seal, but note material
These bags have a fantastic seal, are hazy but clear enough to see through them easily, and I love the sustainability effort. I tested the seal by filling a bag half full with water and air, sloshing it around quickly upside down, and even leaned most of my body weight on to it and nothing gave way.I do want to draw attention to the material, though. It's "food safe PEVA", so it's typically not safe for microwave, dishwasher, boiling water re-heating, or sous vide. I was really hoping I could use these for sous vide, but I didn't realize when I ordered them that PEVA isn't heat-safe. (The listing itself doesn't recommend cleaning them in a dishwasher and doesn't list any uses that would include heat, so it wasn't misleading, but it didn't exactly draw attention to it.)I'm on the fence on a 3 or 4 star rating, just because the limited uses for the material is pretty disappointing, but the bags are made very well.

Big bags I ever had
The zip bags are huge, I never had any food storage bags this bag. It makes sense if you use it for clothes. The material is thick, much thicker than ziplock bags. You can see the difference in my picture.I am not sure if I can use it for any food items this big. The zipper is good, very tight, no leaking air. Maybe I can use it for turkey when I marinate it. Let’s see if it works.

LARGE reusable plastic bags
This is a set of 4 reusable zip-top bags in a 3 gallon size. These are easily big enough to put a whole chicken inside or for storing something like a set of bedsheets or sweaters. The bags are made from food safe materials that work well in the freezer but are NOT HEATPROOF so hand wash them and don't use them in the microwave or dishwasher! The zipper is easy to open and close, it also seems quite airtight. I tried filling a bag with air and then leaning on it to see if it would pop open, it stayed nicely closed. As long as you fully close the zipper these bags shouldn't leak or pop open accidentally.Aside from food storage these bags could also be used to organize clothes in your luggage or just to store pretty much anything that fits in them.

easy to seal
disclaimer: vine review of an item I requested free*seems the same size as a 3 gallon ziplock bag, much thicker plastic though. the added stiffness allows it to stay open face down drying it after washing (pictured with acorn squash for scale (no bananas)).I tried squeezing it pretty hard and it was an airtight seal
