These cutting board feet are extremely well designed and durable. They provide excellent stability and prevent the board from sliding, even during heavy chopping. The added elevation helps keep the board dry and improves airflow underneath. Installation was quick and easy, and once installed, they stay firmly in place. A simple but very effective upgrade.
These came out great. They feel and look very premium. I thought the price was fair for 8pcs compared to some of the other options.I would recommend pre-drilling and then installing the screws by hand, especially with hardwoods to avoid any splitting of the wood or stripping of the screw. You do need a fine tipped screw driver as the screws are on the smaller side.
These feet are very nice but the rubber inserts have a tendency to easily fall out. I typically have to take an extra step to pop them out add two drops of thin CA glue, then pop them back in. An annoyance that reduces efficiency but an 8 pack for $20 is still a pretty good deal. May end up switch to CIC and pay $4 more for a 8-pk of larger feet that, hopefully, do not have these issues.
Very nice quality feet to add a touch of elegance to your cutting board project. These might not be for every board but definitely are worth it for those special ones.
While the design looks nice, I must criticize the way the rubber pads press‑fit into the foot. They very frequently adhere to the granite countertop and detach from the foot instead, leaving the brass exposed to scratch the surface.The installation went easily. I drilled a small pilot hole and drove the soft brass screws in gently. Without the pilot hole, the hard wood would likely have stripped the heads of the soft brass screws supplied.
I have a teak cutting board and the brass matches perfectly.
