Super fun for family gatherings

Our family likes to do silly things when we gather for holidays, so I thought these straws would be fun. They came with all the pieces needed. The glasses run a little small but I was still able to place them on my face. It was a little hard getting the tubes attached as they are tight but that’s a good thing as I had no leaks when testing these out. I can’t wait to watch everyone drinking with these at Christmas.

Oh, these were fun. And by fun, I mean frustrating and a complete waste of time and effort.Yes, they come individually packaged — cute — but they smell weird and have a funny taste straight out of the bag. Pro tip: soak them in soapy warm water first... unless you enjoy drinking your favorite beverage with a side of mystery plastic flavor.Getting the extension straws attached? Prepare for battle. The holes are so tight I felt like I needed power tools just to get them on. And once you finally get everything assembled — spoiler alert — the glasses don’t stay on your face. At all.I had to MacGyver the setup by wrapping the long straw around the back of my daughter’s neck just to keep them from falling off. If the other straw had been a few inches longer, maybe they’d stay on without needing a DIY engineering degree. But nope — instead, you’ll be holding these things up with your hands like you're doing a workout just to take a sip. Super fun at a party, right?Also, after struggling with these, I went back and noticed the advertising photos — shocker — the glasses are clearly photoshopped on. No one is actually wearing them. Probably because no one can wear them.Overall, this product is more frustrating than fun and feels misleading based on the images shown.
