Beautiful but Dangerously Flawed

Unfortunately this beautiful dish, cracked spontaneously on its 3rd bake under perfectly normal use. I bought an oval (used twice) and quiche dish (not yet used) in the same range. Hoping they are without flaws.Value for money:Alas, worthless. The return window closed 3 weeks ago so I'm stuck with a cracked ceramic. Reached out to the seller, and will provide an update when I hear back.Update1 - Seller responded within 24 hours and issued a refund. I have purchased another of the same since I really do like this dish. Fingers crossed for better luck.Update2 - Replacement dish cracked again! 2nd use about 20 minutes into a 400F bake I heard loud creak from the oven. A hairline crack has developed across one corner. Barely visible from the bottom, but on closer look runs all the way through to the bake side. (Note: Oval, mentioned above, was in the oven with no issue.)Glad I heard it crack and did a post-bake inspection. Next time I could have been holding 2 pieces of ceramic and wearing a hot dish!It's too risky to try again.

Nice little dishes

These dishes are absolutely beautiful. Sadly one of them broke in half before I used it. Must have had a small cracked in it or something. The other one I use often for personal sized meals and reheating food in the oven. They are perfect for individual sized portions, they are very pretty and stay warm for a long time.

Perfect size for baking!

First of all, this is a beautiful well made ceramic dish and lead free, which is important to me. I've been eliminating several baking dishes that contained lead. So this beauty was a nice gift to myself! The size is simply perfect for items like meatloafs, smaller roasts and casseroles, potato dishes, cornish hens, and all-in-one dishes. It also fits well next to other baking dishes in the oven AND also my Emeril XL 360 air fryer oven with French doors, although it's a tiny bit snug with the handles. I haven't baked with it in my air fryer yet, but it seems that it will do well. Just note the maximum baking temperature is UP to 482 degrees to protect it from any damage. Personally, I suggest baking at a lower temperature between 250-375 max.This is a perfect size for cooking for 1-3 people and for side dishes. There are many recipes I have done my best to cut in half, but always end up making too much due the the pan size and trying to figure out servings. The other thing that happens is that the recipe doesn't bake well in too large of a pan. Now, I have the right size baking pan to cut my recipe portions down. I am excited! It's also beautiful for baking and serving in. I also recommend to use non-abrasive cleaning tools when cleaning this dish, like blue scrubbies. I simply soak the dish in soapy hot water first, then use a blue scrubbie if needed. If it fits your needs, seriously consider ordering this beautiful ceramic baking dish.

Beautiful casserole dish with interesting color palette

This was a beautiful dish. It is well made with no imperfections. I like how unconventional the colors are, and that the brown and light turquoise / aquamarine complement each other. The speckle pattern matches some of our other bakeware and we’ve found the irregularity of the pattern hides damage and staining on our other pieces. We were concerned that the small handles would make this piece difficult to take out of the oven after heating, but we haven’t had that issue. We would definitely recommend this to others.
