Disappointed -Beautiful product but it arrived shattered.

I was really excited to receive this teapot because the design is beautiful and exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, it arrived completely broken due to very poor packaging. The glass was shattered in the box, and it was clear there wasn’t enough protection to keep such a fragile item safe during shipping.This is especially disappointing because the teapot itself looks like it would have been great — I loved the clear borosilicate glass and the removable infuser, and it seemed perfect for stovetop use. Sadly, I never got the chance to actually use it.If the packaging were improved, this could be a nice product, but as it stands, it’s frustrating to be excited about something only to open the box and find it damaged. I’d recommend better packaging before ordering again. The box was simply placed in a usps envelope.

Poorly packaged, 2nd arrived intact

This is a very nice teapot with glass infuser. The size is pretty decent for a small group of friends having a little tea together, but not really big enough for a party (albeit, most aren't). The design and style is just as shown in the photos, and is pretty efficient for allowing water in and out and keeping the solids inside.The upper opening is big enough to fill easily without spilling, and the handle is positioned and shaped to allow for carrying with your palm countering gravity.The *second* one I got was just fine; the first one arrive damaged severely, likely shipping/handling issues with a significant drop, but the packaging was also minimal (thin box, only a bubble wrap, etc.), so it was not designed to travel through the mail well. If you happen to get it intact, congratulations! If it broke on the way, you've been warned! Note: the lid and infuser of the first shipment seemed okay, so it was likely an impact along the side or bottom that caused the glass to shatter.

Attractive teapot with infuser

I am a big fan of borosilicate glass; it tends to be a bit tougher and is safe / durable at various temperatures. I probably won't put this on the stove top, but it is nice to know that I can wash it in cold water and then fill it with boiling water without worry. That said I wish the glass of this pot was just a little thicker and more like the borosilicate glass pitchers I own.The pot is delicate looking, though I know the glass will be more durable than normal glass. The infuser is large enough to hold various leaves or fruit pieces. You will want to pour the water into the pot through the contents of the infuser and let the water / tea drip into the pot for best results (unlike infuser balls that you just drop into the hot water). You will get some residue in the teapot, but that is normal with infusers with loose leaf tea. Overall a very nice looking pot.

Beautiful delicate-looking glass teapot, poorly packaged, but arrived safely

I was a little surprised at the packaging. I thought it would be packed well in Styrofoam, but instead it was wrapped in several layers of bubble wrap. However, it did arrive safely, so I will not remove a star for that. This teapot is beautiful and delicate, but sturdy enough to not feel like it will shatter in your hands. I brewed a lemongrass, jasmine, lemon balm mix for my first go. It was delicious and actually stayed very warm even through my second and 3rd cups. I’m in love with this teapot and plan to use it every day.
