Really nice glass pitcher
I've had my eye out for a glass pitcher for my fridge forever, but something always wasn't right, whether it be not big enough or too big or the wrong dimensions or the glass being too thin or the handle fragile. This glass pitcher has none of those issues. At 84oz / 2.5 liters, it's big enough. I was kind of looking for a one gallon pitcher, then decided to compromise, and now I'm kind of glad I did. This pitcher looks good, the glass is nice and thick, the rubberized outside protects the glass from dings and will also keep the contents cooler a little longer. The fact I can remove the top not by unscrewing anything but simply pushing two buttons and lifting off the top and its valve? Super, and the mouth is big enough to fit my hand inside for cleaning. Unexpectedly, they also included a little cleaning brush with this, inside the pitcher on shipment, as shown in the photo after I removed it.The handle is thick, sturdy, and provides great control even when the pitcher is full. I further thought that the packaging was good and shouldn't be very prone to damage during shipment, with foam above and below holding it in place in its box.For some reason, the product photos and even those posted by people tend not to include any description regarding how well it actually FITS inside one's refrigerator. Well, look no further. Mine is a Samsung four-door French-style refrigerator with a single deep door shelf capable of holding one standard one-gallon container (like a milk jug). I put the iced tea I had available in the new glass pitcher (after washing it thoroughly) and put it on the door. As you can see in my photo, there's room not only for it, but other things as well.I didn't really thrash it about, but I didn't notice any leaking, and as I said, the sturdy handle makes pouring easy. Also, the spout is designed in such a way that it tends not to dribble very much. Anyway, love this pitcher and I'm glad I got it. True, it's not a full gallon, but it's big enough, and I can even see on the side of this one the measures as to how much tea I have left. Big thumbs up.
