These bowls are really beautiful. They are a nice shape, and the 9” size is perfect for side dishes or a salad for 2-3 people. These bowls are a lighter weight than other ceramic dishes I own, and are pretty enough that I’ll feel good taking dishes to gatherings. I’ve needed to up my game in this area, so I’m excited to have these.The blue color on the ones I received is slightly darker than advertised, but still beautiful. I do have to say that they aren’t exactly matched. One has a lovely band of lighter blue at the top, while the other barely has a noticeable band. I’m okay with that, because the overall color matches, but it’s a little disappointing.What I do consider to be a flaw, is the darker bowl has patches of tiny pin holes sprinkled in the glaze around the outside of the bowl. It’s only noticeable when the light directly hits it, so I doubt anyone will see it unless they pick it up and inspect it, but it really is a factory second.As a Vine reviewer, I received the product free. If I had purchased, I would return for an exchange. These are so nice, I can’t bring myself to remove more than 1 star, because I believe they would remedy the problem if given the opportunity. Unfortunately, I can’t exchange.
