I was worried the design would wash off with how cheap they look and feel, bonded to the metal. However after dozens of trips through the dish washer, it hold son strong and looks just like it did when I first purchased it. They are really easy to clean, so even if your toddler misplaced a cup and you find it with whatever drink they had sitting at the bottom, a little hot water and soap and the stain is effortlessly gone
I don't live far from a NASA facility, and we do have some Trekkies here, so these are perfect for me and my crew. The planets make it easy for us to keep track of our drinks (even though the kids' jokes about Uranus are getting a little old....).I'd rather not use plastic tumblers, and some of us are too clumsy for glass, so the stainless steel is perfect. They look durable, and on a hot day, they're nice to hold as the ice melts. Be sure to have coasters if you don't want the condensation to drip on your table or countertop. The manufacturer recommends handwashing to keep the colors bright, but when one of them ended up in the dishwasher (ooops....), it came out looking just fine.The only thing that would make them perfect is to have Pluto in the mix. Yes, it's a planet, deal with it. But I'm not going to take off a star for that. These tumblers are great and we love them.
These are darling! Good quality, very solidly made. They are shorter than you might think, but they hold an entire can of soda, including ice. The one catch, and this is on me, is that they don't come with lids, which we like to use for caution'ssake -- but the description doesn't claim that they do, I just wrongly assumed they did. Otherwise, recommended!
Stainless steel cups instead of plastic are the perfect party upgrade. Anybody of any age who loves space themed things or events will really appreciate these. They are heavy enough that they won’t easily fall over, and the printing on them is nice and bright, although the ones with the very light blue and amber lettering were easier to read. Sixteen ounces is so size for a party and for every day. You could give them away as party favors, but you probably will want to keep them.
They are good! Fun to use with family or small gatherings so everyone knows which is their cup. And using steel is healthier than feeding them microplastics in other cups.Plus, they are a good conversation starter as the planets are pretty and inspire interesting thoughts and questions (like whether you wish Pluto were in the set!).
