Functional and colorful matcha set. Comes with everything needed. Good gift.
This nine-piece matcha set comes with everything one needs to prepare matcha as intended, plus some cool extras. The set is also pretty to look at, with the tea-themed colors and beautiful designs and patterns. The items are made of high-quality materials and should last for years if properly taken care of. They are reasonably durable, but I would avoid dropping the bowl to prevent damaging it.The essentials in the set include the bowl, bamboo whisk with holder, bamboo matcha scoop, and a sifter. The bowl is the right size to comfortably whisk the tea. The whisk holder helps keep the bristles in the right shape.A card with instructions for making delicious matcha is also included. The pictures and text are on the small side, but I appreciate not being forced to get them online. The card also mentions that the bamboo utensils are not dishwasher safe, despite what is said on the product page here. I prefer handwashing all items in the set to be on the safe side.Additionally, the kit includes some thoughtful extras: a container for matcha powder with an airtight lid that fits snugly to preserve freshness, a rest for the scoop to keep it off the counter, a pretty embroidered tea towel, and even a reusable bamboo straw. This is the first matcha whisk set that I've tried, and I'm very happy with it. Only the matcha powder is required extra. The items are well-made, and the whisk is easy for a beginner to work with. It's also available for a very attractive price. Overall, this product makes an excellent gift for a tea enthusiast who wants to explore preparing matcha at home.

Nice set for matcha lovers, comes with everything but the powder and has easy instructions included
First, let me say, matcha isn’t bad with a bit of honey, but it just tastes like a really, really strong green tea with a bit of grittiness to it. This was my first time trying it, and it’s ok, but not something that I personally would dedicate precious cabinet space to. But this is a review of the set, so here we go.It is actually a very nice set if you know someone who is into matcha. It came with the bowl, the whisk and holder, a little jar for your matcha powder, a tiny wooden scoop, a sifter, a stirring stick and a gorgeous tea towel. The instructions included were pretty straightforward, aside from the temp of the water. When I ordered this, I read up on matcha preparation and the internet said that around 170 degrees was about where you want your water (boiling turned it into a foggy, weird green mess), so I popped on my small sauce pan and broke out the thermometer and hit 170 on the dot. I’d scooped a few scoops of powder out of the bag and into the sifter, got it all sifted into the bowl and measured out my water (it said 1-2g of powder to 60-80 ml of water, but there is no marker on anything to gauge the powder; I had a measuring cup for the water). Take your whisk and stir in an “M” shape (hint: don’t be like me- there is a rubber cap on the bottom inside of the whisk, take it off before you use it) until it’s a bright green, bit foamy and serve. I found it a bit gritty, and strong alone, but it was nice with a bit of honey added. There is a rest for your stirrer and scoop in the box. I’m keeping the towel out and on my oven handle, it’s that pretty. I’d say that if you are looking for a matcha set, this one is very nice, though I’m not sure about the value for the price (I guess it really would depend on how much you use it), but again, this is my first foray into matcha, so don’t take my word as gospel on that.

Feels like a luxury matcha ceremony in a box, perfect gift material!
The second I opened the SARI CASA 9-piece set I said “whoa, this is premium.” I’m also new to matcha and started ordering the drink more frequently when I go out so this is a blessing because I hope to save some money but also create great matcha! Now, everything comes beautifully packaged in a sturdy, elegant box that looks way more expensive than it actually is.Inside you get:• Traditional bamboo whisk (chasen)• Bamboo scoop (chashaku)• Ceramic whisk holder• Gorgeous matcha bowl• Stainless steel sifter• Plus all the little extras (spoon, cloth, etc.)The quality of every piece is excellent: the whisk has the perfect number of tines and feels hand-crafted, the bowl is smooth and heavy, and the holder keeps the whisk in perfect shape. Even the sifter is fine enough to break up every clump for that silky froth.I got one for myself and immediately thought about ordering two more as gifts for my matcha-obsessed mother in law and best friend. It’s one of those sets that looks stunning just sitting on the counter, but will actually get used at least once a week. If you want to level-up your matcha game or have someone on your list who’s into the ceremony side of things, this is the set. Doesn’t feel cheap, is all classy, and arrives ready to gift. Just kinda wish it had instructions with it but I’m sure YouTube will suffice 🤣🤣Already my favorite matcha purchase of the year! 🍵✨
