Great quality love the look
This replacement blender container is great! After, now, about 15 years of owning our classic Blendtec, we’ve gone through a couple of replacement containers as the originals eventually get worn, cloudy, or stiff (sometimes the blade doesn't spin freely). This replacement container fits perfectly on our older model and mates with the motor spindle just like the original, so compatibility isn’t an issue. One thing I immediately noticed is that the blade assembly isn’t identical to the original OEM blade, but in a good way. Instead of a single pair of traditional wing-style blades, this unit features what I’d call a multi-directional blade design. So ,the main cutting blade plus two additional small "fins" below that help pull ingredients down and back toward the main blade. That design does seem to improve circulation inside and likely helps keep contents moving rather than just cycling in place. The conatiner has clear, easy-to-read graduated markings in both ounces and milliliters. The fill lines are generous but well calibrated, with a sensible 36 oz blending capacity and a lower “max fill” line to prevent overflow (you'll see for my video that I duly ignored this 😬). The lid and removable cap are shaped a bit differently than the OEM, with a larger fill opening that makes it easier to add ingredients mid-cycle.As for the build quality, it does feel solid. The body is made from BPA-free polycarbonate plastic, which is hard, durable, and should be sufficiently resistant to both cold and heat. The listing claims it can withstand a wide temperature range from freezing to well above boiling, which means you can pour hot soups or cooked ingredients and not worry about it.In terms of price and value, while this is not an OEM Blendtec container, it’s definitely less expensive than genuine OEM replacements. For example, authentic Blendtec containers with similar capacity run well over $100, depending on model and features. Given that context, a truly quality replacement at around $50 represents a considerable cost savings while still delivering solid performance and durability. So, overall, this truly delivers: solid, well-made, and potentially an improvement over the OEM in a few subtle ways (blade circulation and fill cap design).
This replacement jar for the Blendtec blender is an excellent alternative to the OEM jars. The thickness of the walls and capacity are nearly identical to the original jars. The only differences I found are the shape/style of access hole on top - my Blendtec jars have a square hole and these have a smaller round hole (which I actually prefer) and the blades on these seem a tad bit thinner than the ones in an original Blendtec jar. After a couple months of occasional use to make smoothies and juices, I have not noticed any difference in functionality. Time will tell if the blades hold up like the original ones do, but for the price of this jar compared to an OEM, it's a great value.
