Cute little oil bottle

This is a cute little glass oil bottle. Of course, you can also put various vinegars or really any substance in here, but I do think they just are perfect for storing oils in a way that allows you to use them regularly and not make a mess.My family is very Italian, and we do seem to use a lot of olive oil, whether it's as a quick part of a salad dressing, dipping some homemade focaccia, or just oiling a sauté pan.I like that this is glass and already has some weight to it at the bottom. It just helps you judge better when you're pouring and also helps to prevent tipping or accidental spills.The glass is a little cloudy in some spots and probably isn't the best clarity out there, but it's very reasonably priced and functional.I'm really being pushed to talk about the quality of plastic, but there is no plastic; it is glass.It's as durable as glass usually is. It can fit a decent amount of oil but it really just depends on your usage.

Lovely cruet, but the mouth is narrow

The cruet looks lovely, but the mouth is narrow. I bought one for storing lemon juice in the fridge, but returned it because it would be difficult to fill with a pulpy liquid. I imagine that salad dressings with herbs and spices might also be difficult.

Classy little oil carafe

I am using this little glass carafe for truffle oil. It is the perfect size to hold one bottle of my favorite truffle oil. It has a glass stopper with a plastic cork type device to seal it up. It feels sturdy in the hand. I like having a handle to pour with and the narrow spout makes pouring small amounts easier than pouring out of the bottle. It just looks classy sitting on my kitchen counter.
