Decent quality box, needs rubber feet.
The fit and finish of it is pretty exceptional for being mass produced. The Acadia stock used for my box has nice grain, the finger joints on the corner are properly trimmed and there's no evidence of tear out.The divider pieces move easily enough. I imagine if you use this for salt like the listing suggests, you might end up with salt stuck in the grooves where the dividers go that will make them very difficult to move, or just difficult to get back in once you take them out.For improvement: I think this box needs some little feet. It slides all over the countertop if you just set it straight down, which is going to yield a very bad time if it tumbles to the floor while full of salt.The magnets are appropriately strong to keep it closed, but opening it is a two handed operation since it likes to slide (again, this would be fixed by adding some rubber feet). Said rubber feet aren't expensive to add, but for the price this is listed at they really should have been included.
