This is a very nice product (but you must air it out)
Nicely made and does its job well. It was surprisingly economical so I was a little skeptical. It arrived well protected (it helped that I asked Amazon to box it so branding wasn’t exposed to the recipient, so there was a box in a box) so a nick in the outer box did not come through to the inner box.It looks very nice, the finish is terrific, the lid aligns well with the base, it’s not heavy, and all the slots for teas are uniform.IMPORTANT: I read the reviews about a mild odor, probably from the wood and/or glues used in manufacturing, so we left this out for a couple weeks to “air out” which has made a huge difference. The odor is gone - it cannot be detected after three weeks of use, being packed with tea bags and closed in a cupboard.After ordering this we saw a friend who had a clear “open” tea holder that had about the same capacity so I wondered if I should have ordered that, but then thought better of it. Ours has a lid, holds a few more tea bags, and looks nicer when offering tea to guests at the table. So I think we made the right choice.

This is a delightful, simple tea box and I am very happy with it. I highly recommend. I’ve got several kinds of teas — so in order for them all to fit, I alternated the tea packets right side up and upside down. Alternating them gave it an even more organized and professional feel.Take a look at my photos. Once staggered the bags weren’t cramped, and there was more than enough space to hold all my teas! :)It’s a handsome box, made with durable acacia wood. Nice workmanship. I feel that it was a great price, and it looks nice on my counter. Good quality for the price!
I was pleasantly surprised after reading reviews of similar items. No unpleasant odor. The acacia is of good quality with a smooth finish throughout. Hinges are tight and embedded magnetic closures match up. The corners are not dove-tailed, though seams are well-burnished. Box be repurposed since dividers are removable. I added adhesive felt feet to reduce contact with countertop. Very happy!
