This is the first time I used this kind of product when baking a cake, I had a lemon curd filling in the middle and really needed to let it set up so it was perfect for holding everything in place. The cake turned out great, and I definitely will be using it again. I have a lot still left on the roll. I was making a four layer cake, so I really needed this product. I did wash the one I used, and I think I can use it again, it cleaned up nice with soap and water. I taped it in place. It was tall enough for the four layers. I thought the price was good. Definitely would recommend other people to purchase it.

great addition to your baking basics
I watch the baking shows, and kept seeing these used in certain cakes. so I decided to try them. they are perfect if creating a cake with a body of 'water' (jello lake, etc). they keep everything held in until the jello solidifies. also great if making a waterfall cake. it holds in the icing at the top of the cake until you remove it and the icing flows down the cake. great showstopper.

Better for more than cake.
My husband wanted some acetate film to attach to his whiteboard as another layer to write on when planning projects. This stuff is PERFECT for that purpose. Dry erase marker writes on it easily and wipes off without anything left behind. Alcohol markers work well on it for a semi-permanent mark that won't be easily rubbed off, but erases with rubbing alcohol. It is sturdy with a good thickness and durable enough to be written on over and over again without any issues. Since it is in roll form, it was curled when we first unrolled it, but it didn't take long to flatten out once we attached it to the whiteboard. It probably works well for cake, too.
