Mirror etching is excellent

Glass feels light, but it is very high quality. My confidence in accurate measuring using this is higher than what I felt about the other glass cups I have used in the past. The etched measurement on the inside as well those outside make it easy to read which also helps with accuracy. The v-shaped spout is excellent; no more sloppy dribbles when pouring. I primarily use this for heating milk in my microwave for coffee so a neat pour is very important. The milk heats evenly too. The handle isn't hot when I take it out of the microwave. Cup/pitcher is easy to wash by hand or I can put it in my dishwasher without worry. It is exactly what I hoped it would be both functionally and esthetically. I would definitely buy this brand again.

1 liter with mirror etching

high quality glass and manufacturing. while certainly thinner than pyrex, it feels strong enough, including the handle. purchased the 1 liter with mirror etching version. purchased it at a reduced price for being "used" and "like new". it looked new when delivered. the backwards etching of the additional markings is a slight hindrance more than an aid. (all of the etched markings on mine were on the outside.) still, it is better than no additional markings, as they aid when pouring from a higher viewpoint, eliminating the need to bend down in those circumstances. the additional markings also allow for a left handed or right handed viewpoint.

Perfect carafe for my Nespresso machine

Very functional and easy to use. I use it as my “carafe” for my Nespresso machine, and it fits perfectly. The handle is easy to grip and I added a silicone “boot” to keep it sturdy while the espresso brews. I’ve tried similar measuring cups, but the scale always came off with one run through the dishwasher. We’ve washed this cup in the dishwasher many times and it retained its quality after months of use. Highly recommend for this purpose, or any liquid measurement!

Does its job well... not exactly pretty

This is a solid choice for those wanting a lightweight yet durable mug/measuring cup. Ideal for tea or coffee. The weight is heavier than many other borosilicate glass mugs, though of course much lighter than a Pyrex measuring cup. Hopefully this will prevent breakage -- I've broken quite a few of these borosilicate mugs over the years.I've deducted one star for aesthetics. The laser engraved measuring lines are really large and completely overpowering. If you're visually impaired you'll love that, but if your eyesight is normal you may ask why the measurements have to scream so loudly? I mean, we don't need to be able to read the markings at a 10-foot distance...

I can finally get rid of all my Pyrex!

I have been using Pyrex for the past six decades and have hated how they ALWAYS spill any time you pour too fast. I do not know why Pyrex has never fixed that problem, but they'll never see another purchase from me now that these have come out.I appreciate the accuracy which is in part due to the smaller diameter taller size of the vessel.
