It is perfect for 8.5 inch plates. As a family of 5 we go through plates and was tired of washing 10+ plates a day. Then the paper plates took up space in our cupboard or got dusty on the cou ter. This works amazing!
Too lightweight to be acrylic, item is cheap plastic. Won't last past the party for sure. :/
