I purchased this attachment for my 20 year old KitchenAid mixer that I rarely use because we enjoy chicken fried steak. We usually purchase sirloin steak and beat it with the mallet which takes a lot of pounding to create the texture ; however, we used the attachment and it works great! We ran the sirloin through it a couple of times to get the right size and it only took seconds to get the desired results! It is also fun to use!
The 3 thickness adjustable meat tenderizer attachment for the Kitchen Aid stand mixer is exactly what I need!I have a couple of conditions (old age being a third) that makes using a meat mallet difficult. I had stopped making a couple of dishes because preparing meat was too difficult. But this attachment made it easy again.I was able to make cube steaks for Swiss Steak in just a couple of minutes. And cleaning the attachment is easy since it's dishwasher safe.I'm sure I'll use this very often!
Works well and easy to clean. Just need a good cut of meat. It's not a miracle worker.
