This is a pretty cool tool, for cakes or other uses...it goes to several different sizes easily, it's very sharp (be careful), keep the zip tie that comes on it, you can reuse it to keep it closed for storing it, which can just be hung up!!! It functions as it should...I think I will use it as a cutter for cooked cakes, rather than bake in it...doing so working from the bottom up so the tails of this don't chop up good cake!!! It's a great price for this

Lots of different sizes, but may be prone to warping.
This is a nice tool for cake-makers to have in their kitchen. Making a good heart-shaped cake can be tricky, but this helps with the shaping quite a bit. I enjoy the different size options, and it's fairly easy to lock the one you want in place.However, I would mainly use this to cut out the shape once the cake has already been baked. It doesn't have a bottom, so you would need to use another pan on the base and/or line the whole thing with parchment paper to use it as a stand-alone mold.I also worry about the longevity of this design. The bend at the top gets stretched out if you try to create a smaller heart. It's a bit difficult to re-tighten it and I believe it may eventually stop holding its shape.So although this mold may work in the short term, it seems vulnerable to warping over time.3/5 stars.
