Love it! Very easy to use and clean. If you have expertise the gloves are not needed. Just pay attention to how you detach the blades because there are no instructions.. makes extremely fine shredded cabbage. Love it!Oh.. and watch a YouTube video before using if you're experiencing a mandolin for the first time. Super helpful!
Works great on slicing onions in a few minutes. No more tears. Great value at low price.
Should have a glove protector when using this. The blade is very sharp, I should know, I got cut the first time in use.

This is a really nice mandoline slicer. It seems really well made overall. The cutting plane is metal along with the blade assembly. The rest of the slicer is made of plastic, but it feels sturdy. I really like the addition of the folding legs that support the slicer while it is being used and give it a stable base. The legs also provide enough space underneath to allow a lot of food to be cut at once. The slicer also comes with a holder for safety that works well. It has spikes that securely hold the food items along with a plunger to remove any left over pieces.The slicer is extremely easy to use. There is an adjustment knob on the side to select a blade and thickness. Pushing and turning the knob adjusts the thickness evenly, which is the best part. A wide range of adjustment is available for the thickness which is also nice. There are individual markings for 3, 6, or 9mm, but the slicer can be set anywhere within the range. There are also two blades for julienne cuts at 4.5 and 9mm. The blades are very sharp, and they cut through different foods easily. There is also a setting that allows the cutting assembly to be removed which is a great feature. That makes the slicer extremely easy to clean with a brush.I did find that the adjustment knob could be turned without pushing it in first. I was initially concerned that might allow the thickness to change if too much pressure was put on the cutting surface while slicing. However, I pushed on the surface fairly hard to check, and it didn't move.Overall, I think it is a great mandoline slicer. It is also a really good value for its ease of use and cutting ability.
This is my first mandoline so I cannot compare it to any others, but it is a great little slicer when I don't feel like getting my food processor out. Blades are so far very sharp and cut through vegetables easily. Do have to be careful of your fingers! It is a simple design so pretty easy to figure out how to use and definitely gives faster and more uniform cuts than I can do with a knife. So far a nice little tool for smaller jobs where I don't feel like cleaning my big food processor. Cleans easily overall, again just be careful when cleaning blades!
I’ve tried a few mandoline slicers before, but this one is by far the best. The adjustable knob makes it super easy to switch between different slice thicknesses and julienne cuts—no messing around with extra blades or parts. I love how quickly I can go from thin cucumber slices to thicker potato slices, and the julienne option works perfectly for carrots and zucchini.The build quality is excellent. It feels really sturdy with the stainless steel design, and the non-slip handle and feet keep it steady on the counter. The hand guard and gloves are a lifesaver—definitely makes me feel safer using it compared to other slicers I’ve owned.Another big plus is the space-saving design. Since the blades are built in, I don’t have loose attachments cluttering my drawer. It folds down flat, so it’s really easy to store when I’m not using it.Cleaning is simple too. I just pop out the blade, rinse under water, and use the little brush to get rid of any food bits. Way easier than scrubbing by hand. Blades are very sharp too. Adjustable thickness makes this a great mandolin.Overall, this mandoline slicer has saved me so much time in the kitchen. If you cook a lot of veggies or just want more consistent slices for meals, I highly recommend it!
