Smooth and sleek grinders

For salt and pepper grinders, these are gorgeous. I love the sleek look and how they fit in my hands. The way you can see what's inside at the base really adds a nice touch and with pink Himalayan salt it looks so sharp.These grind both rock salt and peppercorns beautifully. The grinder is very smooth and easy to turn. You can adjust it quite a bit as well - from a fairly coarse grind to a nice fine grind depending on your needs and desires. Just a little twist of the grinder adjustment is all that is needed.They aren't huge from a capacity standpoint, but more than sufficient. They're easy to fill, the top just unscrew and they even come with a little silicone collapsible funnel for easier filling. Honestly though, the opening is large enough that I didn't really need it - but still handy to have.If I had one wish it would be that these were electric. I'll admit that I wasn't paying close attention to the description as I was so taken in by the looks of these that I assumed they were electric grinders. My husband is a stroke survivor and can only use one hand so unfortunately he can't use these. But that's not the fault of the grinders or the company. That's all on me for not paying attention. These really are nice though and totally worth it.

This set works great too

I am so happy with the Aelga Salt and Pepper Grinder Set with Silicone Funnel, which are as advertised, small, glass, manual operation (this isn't an automatic set) with adjustable levels grinder one each one, so I use himalayan salt and whole peppercorns in an effort the bring the real flavor of the spices to like by grinding the crystal down to my level of smoothness. They are lightweight so great to use for all ages and the steel looking mechanism grinder top trimmed on the inside in black looks so elevated on any dinner table or coffee table. I love that the footprint of the actual salt/pepper containers is half the size of the entire container with tops to cover the grinder shaver for a more secure/sanitary set. It also includes a funnel to disbursement from one container to the other. And in the middle of the jars, there is a see through section that shows you the contents of the grinder. This really is a nice set for me as I like the fact that I can control my taste levels with this fresh distribution grinder of flavor. The price is such a good deal for the pair, with funnel for distribution included.

Edit: ceramic blade broke :(

These grinders are a sleek and functional addition to my dining table! Is it weird to say that I've noticed a significant improvement in how my food tastes now that I am using these? I always knew that freshly-ground pepper was incredible but was skeptical about ground salt. I am definitely a believer after trying these.Things I love:- The clear glass that allow me to see how much S/P is left- The screw-top filling mechanism (up until now I've always had S/P shakers with that silly rubber plug in the bottom that sometimes falls out or doesn't fit back in properly after refilling) - the added funnel for filling the grinders is a plus too.- The adjustability of the blade - you can tighten or loosen the blade screw to adjust the courseness of your grind. I've never used a salt grinder before and one of the things I noticed immediately is that by grinding the salt finely, I hvae been adding less of it to my food; I would guess that because the surface area has increased I can taste more of the salt even if I am actually adding less, which is cool.Be aware that because these are stainless steel, they will fingerprint-y!EDIT: A few days after I started using the salt grinder, it seized up and stopped grinding. When I took the lid off to inspect, I noticed that a shard of the ceramic blade had broken off and fallen into my salt! I wish I had remembered to take a picture of it. I am not sure if any smaller pieces broke off so I decided to toss the entire container of salt just in case. Since the blade broke, I haven't managed to get the salt grinder to twist smoothly again, unless I open up the black grind adjuster up all of the way. When I do that, however, the opening is so wide that coarse salt just falls out unground. So far the pepper grinder is still going strong but I am really bummed about the salt grinder.

These are a great looking pair of salt and pepper grinders.They are easy to grind, and the grind coarseness adjustment is easy to make larger or finer grinds.We have found the kids to be a little difficult to remove every time, but it's not too difficult just inconvenient.The size of these fit a lot of salt and pepper to last a long time between fillings. Great for Kitchen or Table

This is a very nice salt and pepper grinder set, made of stainless steel and glass. I love the clean look of the stainless steel (plus it's easy to clean), and the glass receptacle makes it easy to see which is the salt, which is the pepper, and when I need to refill them both.
