Works Like A Champ!
These work extremely well. Just out of the box, all four thermometers read slightly different temps. After letting them sit out at room temperature for maybe 5 minutes, they all appeared to be in the same range. Allowing for an error rate of 1 or 2 degree difference. Because these units are digital, they were super easy to set. You can switch between fahrenheit and celsius by pressing a button. Resetting is also as easy as a button push as well. So in they went into my fridge & freezer. Two in each. One of the top shelf, one on the bottom. Sometimes there are variances in temps from top to bottom, and side to side.So the reason I ordered these is because my fridge food spoiled way too fast, milk went sour, and the freezer wouldn’t freeze anything including ice pops. Obviously something was wrong, but trying to convince a repairman to come out proved to be a pain in the hiney. It was so bad that I stored my fridge food in the freezer just to keep it from rotting. I had the regular maintenance guy (not appliance repairman) take a look. He thought there was nothing wrong. Awww, c’mon. Are you kidding?! It was cranked up to max cold in both the freezer and fridge. This fridge was only a year old. Well, after setting up 4 of these thermometers, I finally had solid proof that there was something wrong with my appliance. I emailed the pictures and got a work order immediately. In less than two hours the repairman came, checked with his own thermometer gun and replaced (yes replaced) my fridge with a brand new, just unboxed fridge (of a different brand). It’s a miracle. Hallelujah, praise the thermometers. Really!! All is right in my world again.As for the pictures, they were taken on the counter at room temperature and also in the old fridge and freezer. As you can see, the room can get very hot during the summer. The 33.9 F temp is from my freezer. The optimal temperature for freezers is zero degrees fahrenheit or less. And the picture with the 49.6 F was taken in my fridge, where temps would fluctuate between 49 - 59 degrees fahrenheit. No wonder the milk curdled. The optimal temperature for refrigerators should be 40 F or less. The last happy pic is from inside my new fridge. Nice and c-c-cold.

Great thermometers
Been using these for a few months now in the fridge and the freezer and they seem to function really well. Battery life so far seems pretty good. Haven't had any issues with them not being waterproof, as condensation builds on them occasionally and they're still fine. They're small enough to fit anywhere I want them and I like how they can stand up or have the hook to hang off of wire shelves, that comes in handy whenever I rearrange my fridge or freezer. They're super easy to use, easy to read, and I like the overally look in my fridge. Temperature is really accurate and it's quick to change when you open the door, so there's not much delay in it displaying accurate temps. I'm happy with it.

It does keep the temperature correctly
I wish the hooks could go different ways, but it does do exactly what it says. It gives you the temperature inside the refrigerator. It works very well in a wine refrigerator. It’s just trying to hook those in there so they stay with the bottles can be a little tough.

Great for bedside or desk
I ordered this to replace an indoor/outdoor thermometer that had stopped working. This simple design is all we need. The display area itself a little more than an inch high. The actual number is a little more than 3/4 inch high, which is bigger than any of the others we've used. It's easy to read and extremely simple to use. Make sure to peel the film from the display. It has a hook to hang inside a refrigerator. The hook doubles as a stand and it's also magnetic. Since we got two, I put one on my desk. I watched them side by side for a few days and occasionally they were off a bit, but mostly in sync. They come with a manual (we seniors love manuals) and a tiny screwdriver for replacing the battery later on. Great value for the money.

Accurate and easy to use
I got these to be sure my freezers and refrigerator were keeping the right temperature. You can turn them off so you don’t run down the battery and can check temps when you need to. I like the magnet so I can keep them on the outside of my kitchen refrigerator-freezer and full freezer, which is in the garage. They give you the temp quickly and the display is easy to read.
