After several months of constant use this Acacia wood salad bowl and serving tongs are clearly well-made and look great. The only maintenance is applying wooden cutting board oil ever 3-4 months. We get lots of compliments from guests. Clean up is a breeze with just a bit of soap and warm water.

Why did I wait so long?

I have been wanting a nice wooden salad bowl forever, and this bowl did not disappoint. The wood is gorgeous and the workmanship is beautiful I love the shape of the bowl with it's almost straight down sides and large diameter. And the hand scoops are ample, yet lightweight, and do a great job of mixing the greens together. I am following the manufacturers advice to oil it before using, and after every use beyond that. It would make a very impressive shower or wedding gift, or even a birthday gift for a friend who.
