    A little thinner than I remember these being when I was a kid, but they work perfectly. I purchased them to "get a grip" on my Ello Stainless Steel Travel Mug lid. The water-tight seal is so good that it was difficult to open after enjoying my beverage. I think partly due to the fact that as the liquid is used, a strong vacuum is created inside the cup.     Great for arthritic hands

    My elderly mother has a difficult time dripping bottles, jars, and other containers due to her severe arthritis. These grip pads are an excellent tool to assist her.     I used to have several of this type of jar opener, but over the years have given them away to the kids.The rubber on these is thinner than my old one, but it works just as well.This won't fit over a gallon jar.I don't need 4, but they will last forever.
