Heavy duty vacuum seal bags. The bags are made of a thick material that holds the seal great and works well to keep freezer burn out. The size of the rolls fits perfectly in my standard size vacuum sealer and the width is great for steak, chicken breast, and fish filets. The bags are easy to use and the sizing is customizable, just cut the length you need and seal. These rolls are a great value and work just as well as some of the expensive brands I've used.

Thicker than home sealer rolls; check your machine's recommendations
When I first opened these vacuum sealer bag rolls, I was immediately impressed because they were noticeably thicker than any other vacuum sealer bag I had owned. Presumably, this will lead to better protection for frozen food and less freezer burn. I was concerned that my machine might not be able to handle the thicker material, though.The clear-on-one-side and black on the other was also different from my previous bags. I wasn’t sure about the black, in particular, because even though I always label my bags, I like the way I can quickly spot what I need with clear bags. Here’s what I experienced:First, I discovered that I like the clear and black design because the black side is textured while the clear side is smooth, which affects the way it should be placed in the sealer. Usually I have to feel the material, which doesn’t take too long, but it’s even faster to simply look at it. Also,since it’s clear on one side, I can still quickly see what’s inside.As far as the seal goes, it seals beautifully, but I do think my machine struggles a little with the thickness. It seems like most, but not all, of the air is removed. I have to leave an ample amount of space at the top to ensure it closes well. To be fair, this is likely a limitation of my machine and not the bags, which are labeled “commercial grade.” I definitely do NOT have a commercial grade sealer!I haven’t been able to test my theory about freezer burn yet, but it just makes sense that a thicker material will better protect against freezer burn–provided all the air is removed in the sealing process.I like that these come in rolls because I like to adjust the size of the bag to the item I’m freezing. Yes, it’s a little more work, but for someone who freezes everything from family soups to individual granola bar packs, the flexibility is worth it. They’re very easy to cut. My scissors and my cutter both glide right through. Once I’ve used enough of a roll, I can store it in my sealing machine, which has a built-in cutter, and that will be super-convenient.I’m impressed with these vacuum sealer rolls and recommend them--especially for those with strong vacuum sealers.

You might have to rope in a helper to hit that seal button while you hold the bag nice and steady, but this trick works like a charm for a tight, proper seal!
