Love, love, love these lids!! I use Mason jars to store my wheat berries, seeds, nuts, etc. and these are so much easier to use than the 2 piece normal mason jar lids! They are stylish and keep things well sealed. I won't use them for canning, but that's what I have the 2 piece lids for! Now to get a set of narrow mouth lids!
These lids fit great on wide mouth canning jars. They are reusable.

The lids are great. It does have a light jiggle unlike the canning lids. But they do the job and so far no rust. I do hand wash them.
These work great! Ball used to manufacture one-piece plastic lids, but now I can only find the two-piece lid-and-gasket type. These lids make life easier for those of us who are reusing glass jars and/or repurposing canning jars for storage or other purposes. No leaks when screwed on tight. I have only average strength, and would say that they close and open securely with no special strength or gimmicky procedures required. Thanks for making a product that is reliable and not plastic!
These are Perfect for short term storage. I freeze dry fruits and use these for gifts for people at church. They fit well on Ball, and Kerr wide mouth canning jars. They are reusable. I use the red and green ones for Holiday gifts.
I use one of these secred to a jar so that I can froth milk/cream for my coffee. No spills ever unless threads to jar are chipped.
