Used it the other day to make some burgers. Worked good for one you put on a blender. Wife didn't read directions all the way before use and put it in the dishwasher (big no no). But we liked it so much and for the price we purchased a new one the next day. Easy to use and the grind was good. Fit the cuisinart mixer perfectly. Seems to be made of durable aluminum. Still worked even after the dishwasher.

This is a little bit of a disappointment, but I’m not surprised since it is chrome coated cast metal. Unfortunately the hopper is plastic with chrome coating on it as well. Shoppers must know that, because it’s not dishwasher safe, that means it’s not real stainless steel.
Aluminum and lightweight, but the necessary cutting parts are steel and sharp. Comes with variable grind plates and I tried them all. Ground some a chicken and made chicken burgers. Outstanding. Fits my KitchenAid perfectly.
I initially thought very highly of this product and wrote a good review for it. Was listed as stainless steel and it looked like it too. That is until I put it in the dishwasher for the first time to find out its not stainless steel at all. The plating came off. Handwashing didn't have an issue. I see the listing has changed to aluminum in the 2 months since I bought it, so I couldn't have been the only one
