Top was very bent

I just received this and the top that came with it is so bent that it doesn’t stay on. Very disappointed that I’ll have to return or exchange this item.Update: the manufacturer reached out to me and was able to get me a new tin very quickly. The new one came, lid wasn’t as straight as I would’ve liked but it stayed on so it was still better than the first. Used this tin the other day and made a beautiful loaf again. Great customer service and a decent product.

Cute loaves!

I got this for myself during the Prime Day sale because I’ve wanted a pullman loaf pan for a long time. And I was a little nervous that the inside wouldn’t be the silicone non-stick coating, and it’s not as slick/shiny as a different baking pan I have but nothing has stuck! I still do butter the insides and the lid because I’d hate to scrape the sides getting a loaf out. But it slides right out.I’ve even baked a cinnamon sugar filled rolled raisin bread in it, and it didn’t stick! (Buttered the inside lightly.)I’ll warn that it’s not leak-proof. There are the 3 small vents at the bottom but the sides where the metal is folded together leaks more. I found out while my cinnamon sugar filled & rolled loaf proofed. Sugar being a hydrophilic substance, tends to pull moisture and liquify into a lovely sticky substance while doughs proof. It’s not a problem for the bake because it gets absorbed back in/adds to steam in the oven and gives you a delicious caramelized crust. But in this pan, it left sticky puddles out the sides. The bottom holes were plugged by the dough. When making a filled dough with sugary goodness, just put a plate under it while it proofs, and a piece of parchment under it in the oven rack to save yourself a burnt sugar clean up.Someone else said this pan handles about 800g of dough. I’ve tried 780-900. Still haven’t managed to fill the upper corners with the top on. But I’ve gotten lovely picture-book like domes and perfect, straight sides.

Great pan for the price but they don't last long.

I bought 2 of these pans back in Aug 2022. These pans have never seen the inside of a dishwasher and probably only saw maybe 20 loaves baked in them. They were great at first but 3 or 4 bakes ago they started sticking really bad. Despite oiling the insides the bread still stuck when I would let the dough rise inside of the pan. I've just ordered a different brand of the same pan hoping with the same care that it will last longer. For the price they're not a bad purchase but don't expect to get a lengthy life out of them.
