Deceptively large but still manageable

Having a water dispenser in the fridge was always a luxury to me when I was growing up. Now that I have a fridge with that feature I was bummed to find out that only the first little bit of water is cold and the rest is just sort of a gross temp. So I needed a pitcher to keep in my fridgeAlso please take note that I have 6 little kids that I’m constantly filling cups for all day long. I love this pitcher, it’s beautiful, it goes from the fridge to the table. Did you see where I said “from the fridge”? Yes it fits comfortably on the lowest shelf of my refrigerator which is so convenient. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not so large that I can’t comfortably carry or pour it though.It’s durable plastic, ahem, I do have 6 kids. The handle is sturdy and secure. And it’s held up well so far, no scratches.The lid is designed so that you can fill it with ice or put fruit in the cavity to infuse water and it strains out those things so they don’t splash into your cup when you pour it. If I had to point out a negative I’d say that the lid does cause pouring to be slow. But with kids using it that’s not really a bad thing. And you can just as easily remove the lid.To wash it I’ve just had washed in the sink. I worried the dishwasher could cause scratches. When I’ve put juice or fruit in there it always washes out perfectly fine with no stains or smells left behind.This is a great pitcher for the large family, the thirsty family or the family that loves to entertain. I would happily recommend it!
