You’ve just plopped down some money on a pizza and now realize you also need several accessories.I recommend this peel as it is an absolute necessity for spinning and retrieving the pizza unfortunately you really can’t get by with only one type of peel.You’ll also need to purchase a peel to build and slide your pizza into the oven with. The larger square metal peel I bought was a mistake, the bamboo peels work much better. Your pizza making success depends on being quick at both making the pizza but most importantly sliding it into the oven quickly. Uncooked pizzas stick to the metal peels more than wood. Once the pizza makes contact with the hot stone that’s no longer an issue and you’ll want one of these smaller metal peels for repositioning your pizza.I’m glad I saved money on this peel since having one or more bamboo peels is also a necessity. This peel is great for smaller Pizzas or spinning larger Pizzas. Assembles easily and you can store it by hanging from the handle. I love the size of the slicing cutter wheel. It makes slicing pizza very easy and cuts neat slices. Good weight, not too heavy and easy to clean
