Truly this is the Mack Truck of the dough rollers. Yes it is not the cheapest for sure but I can pretty much guarantee you won't break it or wear it out.... Look at this thing. The handle and the spikes are stainless steel not silicone. This is a Professional grade dough roller ~! Sure you can use a fork and take a week or use this a take 5 seconds to make sure you dough doesn't have bubbles. If you are going to buy one don't waste your money on cheap copies.
I often make pizzas from scratch, and I especially like to make thin-crust pizza. Without punching some sort of holes into the dough, it will develop little blister bubbles. For years I poked it with a fork before baking, and that works, but it is a lot of work on a large pizza! I got this for Christmas, and have used it probably a dozen times since then. It is so easy to use, as it is a roller, and it makes it easy to cover the whole pizza dough evenly. By going over the same section more than once, you can also control the amount of holes to get something that works really well for whatever type and thickness of dough you have.

As the title says, plus most I looked at before buying this one were segments spike rolls stacked on an axle. This one's all one piece so no cracks for food or germs to get into - huge plus. Much better built than expected - quality.
Bought one of these because my church uses a large one for the pizza shells we make. This one is smaller and seems like the perfect size for home use. Would work for pizza or pie dough. Can't wait to try it out.
