Still learning, but the pan did great!

Bought this to expand my bread making attempts. I have always liked to bake, but bread had been something I rarely attempted. I decided to take on sourdough bread and while I'm still slowly improving, I needed a baking win and figured making a yeasted French bread in something other than my bread maker would be a good thing to try. I've been wanting to do French bread in a baguette shape and eventually do sourdough in it as well. So far I've done it just once, right after it was delivered. The bread was great, but my rolling technique was not. I had some trouble with one and ended up using a rolling pin. It was just as good as the narrow one I jelly rolled but puffed up more like a loaf. The steam came out the seam and not the cuts I put in the top unfortunately. So it wasn't really a total win... But I'll improve and will eventually make some sourdough baguettes on these nice large pans. It was a 2 pack by the way. When I get better I plan on making several sandwich loafs at a time.I did add flour to the bottom of these pans as French bread is stickier than sourdough and it was easy to remove. I like the color, which looks like antique gold. I am hopeful it's rust resistant, time will tell. I most likely will be hand washing and drying to keep it in good condition.

Perfect for Seasoned Bakers

They are very sturdy and shaped really well for making foot long Sub rolls. I do find, however, that due to the size, curvature, and rigidity, they are more difficult to store. They seem a bit awkward for me to use. They would work really well for someone who is a seasoned baker.

Where Have You Been All My Life

As a sourdough bread maker, I've always wanted to try different breads. I saw this on a tv show and immediately wanted to try it. Okay, so honestly, who knew it was SOOOO EASY! I love this non-stick perforated pan! Baguettes come out crunchy on the outside and super soft on the inside. Pan = Baking Bliss! Banquettes literally slide right off this lightweight, super-sturdy pan. If I could give it 100+ I would! Do yourself a favor and add this to your kitchen! Baguettes are the wave of the future! :)

Just what I wanted

Cooked multiple loaves on these so far. I was a bit nervous since a lot of people had negative reviews about this. Some were saying the metal stuck to their bread. So far, I haven't had any issues, but I also use porchment paper. Just to be safe. Better safe than sorry. It works great at proofing. My French bread loaves and cooking them too!The cloth that comes with it is thick and seems made well!Just make sure to wash it. A lot of yellow came off of ours.
