So easy to use! Makes amazing hard boiled and medium boiled eggs. The soft boiled was a bit too runny for our tastes. We love eating hard boiled eggs but they are a pain to make and especially peel, on the stovetop. This little device made it simple!
Just tried it hard boiled eggs works awesome. The peeling was very easy. The value it cooks 8 eggs, awesome so easy to use, set it and forget it
Amazing little egg cooker ! I cook 8 eggs at a time and it don't take long to do it. Take the eggs out of the cooker as soon as they are done and put them in a bowl of cold water. They peel very easy if you do this. Clean up is a breeze. I love this cooker and I give it 5 stars. I would buy it again.
I want to make one thing clear. The instructions tell you to puncture a hole in the large part of the egg, but the image they provide shows them putting it in the narrow end. This confused me and caused the eggs to overflow out the top as other's have posted pictures of. If you do not puncture the bottom of the egg where the air cavity is in the egg, it WILL OVERFLOW! Aside from that be sure you use Room Temperature Water, not Cold Water, and let the eggs cool off before trying to pill them or the shell will separate from the thin skin underneath.Value for money: It's ok, it's made out of cheap plastic that will break the first time you drop it, but other then that it does do what it says it will do and is easy to use.Works Well: If you do it properly....then it will in fact work properly, be sure you understand the proper procedure before reviewing this product as many people have given it an unfair review based off a misunderstanding.Ease of cleaning: It's ok to clean I guess, if you put the hole in the wrong end though, your going to have egg everywhere.Egg Peeling: I mean if you give it time to cooldown, it seems to peel about as well as one would expect.
Awesome little device. Medium boiled eggs in like 8 min, easy to peel... like others say, read reviews vs relying on pathetic instructions. Poke the egg at big end, like others mention. If the instructions were better id give 5 stars but it is pretty self explanatory, plus the assistance of other reviewers with their trial by error helps immensely. Great product tho, no doubt. Especially for around 30 bucks. Eggs are super easy to peel, unlike boiling in water. I suggest buying, but reading reviews for best results.
Works as expected and easy to use
I gave this egg cooker multiple tries with different amounts of eggs and water. I’m not at all happy with this cooker. The photos shown are cooking 6 eggs with 140 ml of water measured from the cup provided with the unit. Unit was set to hard boil. These eggs are soft - medium boiled. Every time. Multiple eggs peeled horribly, breaking in half even. If I wanted consistent medium boiled eggs that peeled terribly, I’d love this machine. Guess these eggs will work well for egg salad. I’d rather just take the time to boil eggs old fashioned than deal with whatever this unit cooks for me. Definitely not worth the money, even at a discount.
