These are some of the best cooking pans I’ve used. Items don’t stick and foods heats evenly.
If you have used the Anolon pans before, this is another step up. I like the Anolon pans as they are heavy and easy to clean. This one is heavy but also adds the browning feature for food. If you brown meat or veggies this is great. Gives a really nice sear on burgers. The heat distribution is the same across the pan. Best way to use is to put it on low and leave it there. It will gradually heat up the pan to a very nice medium over the whole plan. You do not get the nice heat distribution if you start it on high and dial down, and could inadvertently burn the pan . Also as the pan is heavier on the bottom, it retains a nice even heat, particularly if you have to use electric burners that are not easily controlled. Cleans up very easily. Only complaint is that it is only available in the smaller pan size and not the larger size pan. Wish it was made in a larger size. Great purchase and would recommend it.
I bought these pans for Christmas. Not even early January, and one is peeling on me. I have no idea how long it’s been peeling, but I have only used this pan about 7 times since I bought it, to cook the following items: ribeye steak, scrambled eggs, Japanese ramen noodle, scrambled eggs, Japanese ramen noodle, and finally bacon and eggs. How the heck does this “high quality pan” already peel after such few uses? I never used above medium heat, and I always use silicone cooking utensils. I’m high disappointed to have to return this product that I was looking forward to, and I warn any buyers to BEWARE
The pan is heavy and beautiful. It heats perfectly evenly and cleans up well - however, food (like scrambled eggs) does still stick to the pan. I have yet to buy a pan, no matter the expense, that does not stick at all. This is the best one so far as it does heat evenly.
I brought a cheaper version, but it turned out to be not as good as you would expect. The best brand just costs too much for my blood. This middle of the price pan works much better than the cheaper ones while being more reasonably priced. I have found nothing to complain about while saving a boat load of money.
I was so intrigued by the ads for this pan, especially the fact that the oil stayed where you put it . I used it a couple of time and found it to be okay in regard to all of the various claims. However, upon reflection, I decided that it was simply too expensive for the teensy value of having to add a tad more oil to my various other pans that are all high quality, but half the price. I should also add that a pan is only as good as the stove it is used on. I might think it worth while if I had a perfect stove. I'm thinking in the future, when I require level oil and even heat I'll just get my electric skillet out.
