I never write reviews but this purchase exceeded all expectations and more. It came so securely and carefully wrapped, beautiful and fabulous quality. Two glass straws , one for each lid and a brush to clean them safely stored in one of the straws. They even included a cork coaster!! A truly perfect and treasured purchase. Love it and use it daily.
we love these glasses and I may buy a whole set of them. My one family member loves to drink out of glass when running out versus the aluminum or plastic cups for travel ....and this also fits in the car drink holder . You could heat up your drink or put something cold in. We have not had an issue with heating up anything .
I was worried that the 40 oz cup might be annoyingly heavy for daily use, but it's lighter than my 32 oz plastic tumbler. The glass straw is well polished and comfy to use. It's thin, so it might not hold up well if you're rough on your cups, but for something that goes from desk to end table like mine, it's perfect.
I love these cups! First of all, they're beautiful. Second, they're super functional. My wide mouth mason jar lid (for sipping/pouring) fit perfectly, so I can interchange them -which is worth it, alone! I have a stack of medium-size plastic cups from Dunkin that I reuse to make my iced latte everyday, and I was able to fit the whole latte in this glass cup (for size reference). I'd like to get away from plastic, so glass was the obvious choice. Even the straw is made of glass! I started singing the Cinderelly song when I unboxed it!! Haha! This is the real-life version of a glass slipper! It is a lot wider than most straws, so it may take some getting used to. But overall, these cups are amazing!
The part where you put the top when you are drinking is kind of crappy for 2 reasons:1. It broke the first day I used it. It does still work but I have to hold the straw cover in my hand anyway.2. I would be able to put the outer wide mouth jar ring on it if it wasn’t there. This would make me feel more secure using it outside my house.So for those reasons it’s a 4 star.I also wish you could buy replacement pieces. That would be nice.
Love, love! Large volume! Not too heavy. Glass straws, well fitting lids. Slim handles. Bought the four color pack so we can each have our own. Going to be my favorite glass of all time.
Loved these at first. The tops fit very securely. I like the thickness of the straws and the glass itself is very heavy duty.The lids are definitely not dishwasher safe, they crack and break. The straws are dangerous. I was drinking and sucked up what I thought was a piece of ice but actually ended up being a broken piece of the glass from the straw.Maybe would be better with a stainless straw and definitely a different material for the top.
