I’ve been cooking with woks for over 25 years (carbon steel, cast iron, you name it), so I’m pretty picky. This AOSION 13" cast iron wok set is genuinely impressive for the price and a strong 4-star performer, though I’m docking one star because, while it’s very good, it’s not the best cast iron wok I’ve ever owned.The Good (and there’s a lot of it):True flat bottom that sits rock-steady on my glass-top electric stove—no wobbling at all.Pre-seasoned coating is surprisingly even and truly nonstick right out of the box. I made a batch of fried rice the first night with zero sticking, and cleanup was just hot water and a soft brush.The dome lid is excellent—tall enough for steaming or when I toss in a whole fish.Wooden handles stay cool and feel comfortable; the helper handle is a nice touch when the pan is loaded.The included spatula and oil strainer tray are actually useful (not just cheap filler).Where it falls just short of 5 stars:Weight distribution is good but not perfect. It’s noticeably heavier toward the cooking surface than my old hand-hammered cast iron wok, so when I do long stir-fry flips the handle side feels a tiny bit light.The seasoning, while excellent for a factory job, still isn’t quite as glass-smooth as what I can build myself after a few months of daily use on higher-end pieces. I use it 4–5 nights a week and have zero regrets—just tempered expectations that there’s still a tiny bit of room at the very top. Highly recommend if you want performance without breaking the bank.

Awesome on induction
This is a great wok on induction cooktop. Quality of material and workmanship clearly on display here. Wok itself is good size, smooth and easy to handle/not too weighty (for cast iron). Accessories are great bonus and really come in handy. Bottom is especially good size to catch heat. Stirfry is fast as it catches good heat in the bottom and holds good heat in the side, just as it should, so medium high is enough for typical dishes. Even slow cooked a whole soy source chicken for an hour and came out mouthwatering. The tall lid with glass window works really well, as able to see inside while cooking. Also appreciate the wood handle, feels awesome in the hand. Cleaning is easy too, nothing sticks and everything comes right off with simple brushing.Only wish: click-to-remove handle design. Since this is a large wok, with handle, cleaning becomes somewhat cumbersome even in a good size sink. Current handle is screwed in, but probably not designed for repeated on and off. A good click-on click-off handle design would make this the perfect wok. Hope seller reads this!Overall, a most happy customer!
