I purchased these for our office, and they are a good weight and allow the towels to tear away easy.The quality is good for the price, too. They look nice and are really simple to screw together fast. Great for home or office, I'd say.
After searching multiple stores for the right paper towel holder, this is it! Stainless steel construction with foam padding underneath, super easy to tear off one sheet no matter the size of the roll, lightweight enough to move around easily, simple design. My old holder had one of those side pieces that are supposed to make it easier to tear off one square, but I found it more annoying than helpful because a new roll would always be too tight to move—the worst! This solves that issue :) My only comment for improvement is that I wish it was elevated from the countertop with little feet so if I’m doing dishes and happen to flood the counter with water, or if something spills like juice, etc., the bottom of the holder won’t get sopping wet. But I guess I’ll deal with that problem when it comes! Also the height could be lowered an inch.
I really love this set of paper towel holders. I am a papercrafter, and use rolls of double sided adhesives that are three inches wide. This weighted, upright towel holder is perfect to hold them in my craft room. It is great quality, nicely weighted, and perfect for my purpose. Great price, great quality, great product! I loved having two of these, that were so carefully packaged.
I enjoyed the clean look of them and getting 2 for price of one. You can put the paper towels on easily. They are very durable.
These look and work just how they are advertised. The bases are weighted enough and have enough grip where they stay put on a flat surface. These work for my needs since they are only a center post so I can store large/wide rolls on them. In my case, I'm using them in the garage for some Rag Company Rip-n-Rag Multipurpose microfiber towels and blue shop towels. The top nut is just the right size where I don't need to remove it to change rolls, but it's enough to keep things in place when pulling on the towels.
I wanted a paper towel holder that would be good to use at work and this one fit the bill. I like the fact that it has a stainless look instead of black as I'm not the one to go out and dust things weekly.I read through countless Amazon reviews and questions before selecting this one for work. I've used it now for about a half year under office use stress so it would probably work perfect in a home too.The counter weight works perfectly to hold the towels from unraveling yet allows little resistance for pulling the towels off. The soft base was also nice as I set it on a white microwave and I didn't want it to get scratched up.Pros:- Easy to assembly- Easy to wipe clean- Color discourages frequent dusting from paper towels dust debris, etc- Weight on towels hold enough tension so towels don't unravelCons:- Would have been nicer if there was a simply depression button to replace towels
Holders were packaged nicely, easy to put together and work very well with the weighted base. Great product with fast shipping from the seller. I would definitely buy from this seller again.
