These dipping bowls are well made, lightweight and durable. I will use them for dipping of course, but also use them daily as spoon rests. Perfect for my small teaspoons when enjoying coffee or tea. They wash well and so far do not stain. Nice set of 8.
Great dishes, colorful and good price
Perfect size, reusable dessert/snack plates. When you want value for your money and to stop using paper plates. These are going to be great for every day use when you don’t need or want a full size plate just to eat cut up fruit or chips. And they go in the microwave and dishwasher.
Overall quality is good. I wish this came in 7". That would give you more room to fit chips with your sandwich. The diameter I measure is 5.75" and not the 6" as listed. The deep 9" (measures 8.75") plate fits most meals. Steak knives will definitely cut into the surface. The plate does not transfer heat like our old plastic plates, so you can typically hold the while eating. Clean-up is easy.
Love, Love these plates, no spilling, steady and holds plenty of food.
Perfect size for appetizers
Although these plates do not have the conventional shape, they are amazingly useful and durable. Having a deeper edge is great for hard to plate foods such as soup and sandwich. Microwave and dishwasher safe these are excellent casual tableware. Being sustainable is an added bonus.Addendum: Have used these plates and bowls of about a month and unfortunately find that the lighter colors stain. Tomato soup left a stain that neither rinsing or dishwasher was able to completely remove. The worst was the drips from a barbecue sandwich. These stains do not respond to any type of scrubbing. I still like the product overall but something needs to happen with the lighter colors staining with normal use.
