FAST. Easy to use, sturdy construction, almost makes peeling fun
I really love how fast and easy this little gem works. I usually use a knife to peel with or sometimes the old fashion potato peeler, but I will never go back to that again. I just got 5 bushels of apples and I peeled the first couple the way I usually used to peel, with a knife, I went through a half bushel of apples in the same amount of time with this, that it took to just peel the first two apples. PLUS it cored and sliced the apple all in one simple action. This particular model came with an extra coring and slicing blade and 2 extra peeling blades. Replacement of these 2 things are so simple a 5 year old could do it. It has a 5 year warranty with it too. IDC, I will be buying a couple more in the near future just to have them on hand. Or just in case one of my kids borrows it and forgets where they got it (lol). Works on taters pretty good too. 5 Stars ( 6 stars if they would allow it)

Works for Apples
Bought this for peeling apples and read reviews that it peels potatoes. Once I got the hang of using it. It cored, sliced and peeled my 12 apples. It took a little extra time cause learning curve. But as far as potatoes. First if your potatoes are large, it only would cover half, but I couldn't get it to work for peeling potatoes which was a negative. I am keeping it cause it does save some time with apples and the slices are consistent.

Works pretty good. Saves me time and effort. Easy to rinse off after peeling.
I push the peeling cutter more solidly against the apple while peeling and it peels great.I also unwind in reverse after apple is cored, to pop the apple core off.

Works but a bit flimsy
It does the job and help me get through a bunch of pears we had to work through before making preserves. You do have to kind of coax the blade to bite in to start, but once in, it makes a continuous cut without much fuss. Pulling the core can be a pain at times. For light to medium tasks, I'd say it's good. If you have heavy demands, might want to look at something else.
