I’m all about products that help busy moms with little ones. My kids love to eat apples and to peel and slice is just extra. This just makes it easy and fast! Especially when the kids are begging you for a snack. Beautiful gold color too and very sturdy.
After snapping two plastic apple slicers, I wanted to find something more durable. I knew this one would be of good quality before even removing it from the box! It had a great weight to it, and the handles are comfortable. I’ve used it every day this week, and the blades appear to be sharp and it glides easily.The brushed rose gold handles are so pretty. I’m used to the ugly neon green plastic ones I’ve used in the past. This looks great in my kitchen.
This apple slicer is great! Easy to use and stylish! My teens use it all the time. Does the job! I also bought one as part of a wedding gift and the couple loved it!
No apple slicer/corer that I’ve purchased and returned was only able to cut a soft apple. I use sweet-tart firm apples. I just tested this one on a very firm Pink Lady apple. I needed to lean on it to get it started and I needed to bang on the counter get more of the corer down so I could start removing the pieces. It was impossible to get it to release the core and pulling didn’t help. The blades are impressively sharp, so to finish the job, I used a plier-type tool to pull out the rest. Took a bit of effort to get the core out, but I am satisfied.
This looked like a solid/sturdy apple cutter. Unfortunately, after only a few uses, the entire blade stayed in the apple. All I had left was an empty gold ring and an apple I couldn't eat. Very sad. I posted the photo on my FB page with the explanation...This is what I get when I try to eat healthy.
I like the way it cuts apples, the cut slides are a nice size, very easy to use with the weight of it makes it easy to put pressure cut apples, I love the design and the way it cuts
