Very nice little kitchen tool. I had an apple slicer but often my apple would be too big for it. The corer fits the bill nicely. No matter what size apple, it easily removes the core. Just position the device over the stem and give it a push. Next thing you know the core is out. One click and one side opens and you can dispose of the core. Takes two seconds. The blades are sharp so you don't have to strain the push the corer through. great price. Dishwasher safe. Handle fits my small hand easily.I really can't believe how handy this is.

A kitchen gadget you'll actually use!

This had been on my list, but I had never really planned on getting it until I needed to add more to my cart to get free shipping lol. Turns out this was the kitchen gadget I'd always needed!! This tool makes coring apples a breeze, I can do it in under 10 seconds! Just put a wood cutting board underneath your apple and the gadget, and press down in the center of the apple. BAM! The core has been neatly removed, and you can release the handle and pop it into the trash or compost bin. I just wash this with water and let it dry. Sometimes apples have cores that are tougher or angled, but the tool can still work. In these cases, I check the core alignment and lightly mark the core with the tip of the tool. Then I press the tool into the apple, rocking it in a circular motion. It works like a charm! This product's ease of use has helped me eat more apples. This would especially be a great tool to have if you have kids, want to eat better, or just really love apples! Stop wasting your time fiddling with a knife, use this bad boy instead!
