Not good for older people
I bought this gift for my father in law. He loves espresso and it works well. However, he was unable to use it on his own. The grandkids had to do it for him. It's very portable, would be a great on the go item for a fresh shot of espresso. We used espresso pods which made it even easier. Coffee temp was good. Would be a fun thing to take camping or hiking. 3 stars for the complexity. Need to be more tech savvy to understand how to use it

Coffee on the go or not, your choice
If the instructions actually matches the product I would give 5 stars but unfortunately, I had to figure this out on my own. Uses nespresso style pods only or ground coffee, no K-Cup style pods. takes a little while to heat the water but it works and it's portable. Coffee anywhere! Worth the money so far.Just FYI in case you get one with instructions for something else. Put 8oz of water in the top and run a cycle by tapping the button on the front twice, it will heat it in about 4 minutes and then start brewing. If you don't do this once without a pod your first pod will only be a couple ounces. The lines need to fill or something. That is all, enjoy coffee whever you may be.
