I've been thinking about an apron for when I BBQ, or do some cooking and don't want to change out of my nice clothes. I am a little bit disappointed, as it is a bit smaller than expected, and the neck strap wasn't hooked, and doesn't have a way to hook it...I ended up tying a not, which looks dumb, but it works, I guess.It does have a chest pocket, and 2 waist pockets, which is nice, and the material feels like it will hold up to use.
Overall, this apron is decent, but it has a couple of drawbacks that keep it from being a full 5 stars for me.The fit is good for smaller builds, but if you’re a bigger person, it may feel a bit short or snug. For reference, the person in the photos is 5’3” and about 100 lbs, and it fits her well. Just something to be aware of before buying.My biggest gripe is the tie system. You have to manually tie it, whereas other aprons have much better, quicker strap mechanisms. It works, but it’s not as convenient as it could be.The water resistance is actually great, which is a big plus, but that likely explains the downside of the material. The fabric feels rough and slightly scratchy/itchy, especially if you’re wearing it for longer periods.If you prioritize water resistance, this apron does its job well. If comfort and easy straps matter more to you, there are probably better options out there.
I'm so in love with this apron. I do a variety of work that I utilize aprons for, from woodworking and painting, to art and craft type projects. This apron provides full coverage in width and length, coming down long without hindering my movements. Whether I'm up and down a ladder or tinkering in the garden, the pockets are deep enough to hold my items without falling out. Though you can tell the material is waterproof, it has a likeness to fabric that eliminates any noise. I love the hue, and it is easy to keep clean with a wet cloth. I looks super cute, and the seam work is impeccable. The tie strings wrap around me twice; plenty of length. I do wish there were a way to solidify the neck strap without having to tie it, but no big deal. I'm going to individualize mine with a company logo. I wholeheartedly believe it will hold up with my tasks, and can easily recommend it.
One of the disadvantages of online shopping is that you can’t feel the fabric. And this apron proves my point. It feels like a dried leaf for lack of a better word. It won’t drape nicely because it is rather stiff. And it isn’t soft and looks a bit wrinkled even out of washing machine. And it is rather thin. But it repels water droplets. So 2 stars for the fabric.The strap locking mechanism scored only 1 star.However, I like the cut, design and color (more like matcha green latte color) - 5 starsOverall, this apron earned 3.5 stars.
Simple but efficient styling with useful pockets, adjustable neck strap, and some ultra long ties to go around you. Kept me dry while cleaning up, kept me clean while working, mostly. Materials feel odd at first but I think it's a durable fabric for keeping you clean from even the messiest of crafts. Not water resistant but water resilient and kept me dry from splash back underneath. Would recommend highly for all ages and up to size 5XL friendly.
