This is a gift, but I did open the package to make sure nothing was broken. It looks really nice. The bowl is bigger than I realized. The colors are very bold and bright. I was very impressed with everything. I'm very happy and I will also be very to give this item for a gift to my granddaughter.
My wife loves it... she has never done a fondue much less a cheese fondue and she is excited that we will be doing one soon. I know from the quality of the cheese fondue dish that it will do an excellent job in keeping the cheese nice and hot.
Beautiful ! Except it will smoke heavily when the sterno is open all the way. You have to really find the sweet spot because closing the sterno will also cause it to go out if it’s too closed. I have a stainless steel fondue pot that doesn’t do this. I just thought this one looked nicer.
Artestia Ceramic Cheese Cooking (Fondue Set) is AWESOME! I used the ceramic pot on my stovetop to cook my cheese fondue; I then transferred the pot to the stand & lit the fire gel can to keep it warm. The cheese remained melted the whole time & it was warm throughout the evening. I would highly recommend this purchase.
This product was so disappointing. Twice I've used it and both times the Fondue was ruined. The sterno type device is too strong and if you turn it down it goes out. I'm going to have to devise a way to keep food warm and not use the burner because it's way too expensive to discontinue using.
Easy to order and came in good shape. Well packed. I also liked the instructions which allowed me to know whether I should cook the fondue directly over a gas stove top or in another pan first. Very Important."
