Works As Described

These worked great. I put a frozen half stick of butter in them and the butter melted in less than five minutes. I'd say the distance between tea light candle and ramekin is perfect. The only thing I don't like about it is that lighting the candles causes a burn mark on the bottom of the ramekin. They all probably do that. I just like things to remain in new condition a little longer. :-)

Works beautifully

Have used these pots now for melted butter for lobster and for fondue. The tea light candle melts butter beautifully. It also keeps butter or fondue nicely warm. When butter or fondue runs low in the bowl, the tea light can overheat the liquid but at that point we simply blow out the candle.I really like this solution. We each have our own dip and because we aren't sharing a central pot of dip, I think this must be more sanitary and provide less chance of spreading/sharing germs.
