Tried one set and love them ordered two more sets. They’re larger than the average size. These are 15 inches instead of 13 which are very nice. I’ve had others that are not as good and curl up but these lay flat.
Amazing placements. Thick and protect from hot bowls and plates. These do NOT warp due to heat. They Look expensive on table
I’m been pretty pleased with the performance and appearance of these placemats. The mats have a sleek, attractive faux leather finish that looks stylish on our dining table. I love that they are reversible, giving me the option to switch up the look. Cleaning them is incredibly simple, because they are not absorbent, just a quick wipe, and they’re good as new. Another plus is they don’t curl at the edges like fabric mats after washing. These lay perfectly flat, and the sealed, finished edges give them a polished look and more durability. The thickness of the mats is great for quieting dinner ware and cutlery sounds too.However, there are a couple of drawbacks. The heat resistance isn’t very impressive—they can handle hot plates or cups, but nothing hotter than boiling water. I wouldn’t put a hot pot on these like the listing picture. I found these dark brown placemats to be a great find, especially considering the price. They measure about 17 and three-quarter inches by 11 and three-quarter inches (so not exactly 12x18 as listed) and have a really nice, high-end faux leather texture. While they obviously aren't genuine leather, they feel very premium and have a 2 mm thickness that provides a nice shock-absorbing quality on the table.The mats are technically reversible to a light cream color, though it is worth noting that the edges are finished in brown, so that will show regardless of which side you use. I did find the brown shade to be a little lighter than I expected from the photos, but the textured look and luxury feel made up for it.So far, they have been very easy to wipe clean with a damp clothe (e.g gravy, syrup, run-of-the mill crumbs), though I haven't tested them against any heavy stains like red wine yet and I haven’t used any heavy duty cleaners.If you are looking for a leather look on a budget, these are a solid choice.
The Artoid Mode Beige Faux Leather Placemats are heavy duty, great sized, two-sided, and easy care. The faux cowhide mats look nice on the table and are heat resistant, a big plus. I typically use traditional fabric placemats but the colors of these placemats caught my eye. Such a fun and inexpensive way to refresh the daily kitchen table.As all family tables tend to be after a meal, mine is no different...messy!! I am usually washing cloth placemats at least once per week in the washer. Not a huge inconvenience but these placemats are a quick clean. Using a soapy cloth and rinse and, they are back to use. I rather do like the elevated, colorful look that the beige side adds to our hand-made cherry kitchen table. It is oversized and, upon reflection, underwhelmed by the traditional sized placemats I've been using. These placemats come rolled but the beige ones laid flat directly from the package. It's the color side I prefer with the table so I was happy.These placemats are heavy duty and make a lovely looking impression on the dinner table. They are quite reasonably priced for their heft, ease of cleaning, and size. I think you'll appreciate the larger size for your table and will not be disappointed.
These placemats are impressively sturdy and nicely thick. I really appreciate anything that can be wiped clean instead of tossed in the wash. By that convenience this product feels like a big win. The thickness of these placemats surprised as they seem durable enough to last. I’m normally not a placemat user bc I like to keep a clean table and having another thing to wipe down just adds stress but these are easy to clean. They add a nice decorative touch. I love that they’re reversible—if they weren’t, the beige side still looks really nice. So I can use them as if they were reversible.These are heat resistance which is great considering how hot I like my food. I wouldn’t set a pot straight off the stove on them because it seems as if they have a tolerant—limit to their heat resistance but they easily handle a hot mug, hot plate of food, or a warm bowl of anything. These are a great value for the quality you get.
Very nice placemats. I bought the beige ones, and they are very nice. They have a nice soft leathery feel to them, without the pain of real leather maintenance. They're easy to clean, just a wipe down.They're decently thick, but not so thick that you can't fold them or roll them up for easy storage.Because they are faux leather, they seem very durable, like real leather.I bought the beige one, which is very nice, but the back is brown. I don't know if the back was intended to be a dual-sided placement, but the brown side is just as usable as the front side, so these placemats are very versatile
