Perfect for Hungry Toddler
I adore this lunch box. I looked high and low for something microwavable, dishwasher safe, compact, and not filled with tons of tiny compartments. My toddler eats like a starving dinosaur so the bigger compartments hold her full spaghetti servings, sandwiches, berries galore, etc.It is easy to open and shut too which is surprisingly a major ask for a kids lunch box. It’s easy to wash or even just wipe down. Even though it has big compartments, it’s still relatively compact and fits in her lunch bag with a water bottle. Really appreciate that!I never really have to think about or worry about this thing, so recommend to anyone with enough to manage in life.

Preferred Bento Box when packing lunch
Favorite bento box. We’ve used this for daycare lunches since 1yo. I prefer this one because it seals all compartments so I can put yogurt, apple sauce or fruit and the juice won’t get everywhere. Compartments are prefect size for toddler age lunches too. Fits perfect in a Vera Bradley over the shoulder lunch box.

ASOMIC Leakproof Silicone Bento Lunchbox - 3 Compartments Snack ContainerThis silicone bento box is great for packing a kid's lunch with a main entree and two sides. It is leakproof! One downside is that younger children may have difficulty putting the lid back on; therefore, the contents may spill on the way home. I believe older kids could be taught how to completely seal it to avoid leaks.This does fit well into lunchboxes and doesn't take up a ton of room, so there is still room for a snack and silverware and a thermos if needed, at least in the 10" lunchbox I have. The bento box is really sturdy silicone on the base - very happy about that! Unfortunately, due to the base, the entire container is a little heavy and younger children may struggle to carry it in their lunch box, especially if you have a thermos and things included. I think this would be less of an issue for older children or adults, but it does have a giraffe on the front.A big benefit of the silicone is that it is very easy to clean, and so far I've noticed no stains. Overall, it's a great bento box for the current price of approx. $25. I did deduct 1 star because it is marketed for kids, but is rather heavy and difficult to seal and my preschooler is having issues with both of these items.
