Excellent pan for the money
Many years ago I started out with the notion that good pans cost a lot of money. That started to change after I lived in Europe for 20 years. Then fell apart when I started buying cheap pans for temporary living that turned into 4 years of temporary living. When I finally reconnected with my belongings, I gave away at least 5 fancy brand circa $400 pans and kept all of my cheapo pans. Moral of the story, pay for a pans performance, not marketing. As there appears to be a number of different pans being reviewed here, I’m reviewing the “Nonstick Everyday Pan, 9 inch, Ceramic Coating, Stainless Steel, Induction Compatible” pan. I’m on induction, have been for over 30 years (Europe). After using it daily for a week, here are my thoughts:- slow to warm up, not an issue, but be aware, SS probably not as magnetic as other pans- I've bumped my default temp setting for sautéing 2 levels vs my excellent Demeyere (pre-acquisition) pans.- heavier than I expected, in a good way- sits absolutely flat on a glass top surface, sliding not bad, can gently maneuver food without holding handle- superb non-stick. Will get less non-stick as ceramic will do but I’m used to it and a bit of EVO works wonders with my 10 years old Demeyere ceramic pans.- love the high sides, keeps the cooktop cleaner- excellent handles, ergo’s and remain cool enough to avoid gloves- good balance, easy to lift, pour, clean- nice finish, very well made for the money- good lid, as in yes there are a lot of terrible lids sold with pansThis will be my default everyday pan.

Better than expected -- good value
This is better than expected. It is a favored " go to " pan. Heats evenly and cleans easily.

This thing is cool !!
I checked all over Amazon and this brand was the only one that listed in the description to list, by name, "no PTFE" as well as "no PFOA". Some will list "no PTFE" but will not list "no PFOA".I feel safe using this product and brand as a whole. The non-stick coating is amazing. As a test, I caramelized some sugar and purposely burnt some American cheese in this skillet. Anyone that cooks for any length of tome knows that these are two of the toughest substances to try to remove from cookware. In both cases, they wiped out with just a paper towel. Gets my vote.I would whole heartedly recommend this product

"Out of the Frying Pan, and into..."
This is my third piece from Avacraft, and another great piece. The depth of the pan is perfect for simple frying to creating a one dish meal...yep even made a one serving of pasta and sauce! So as the new idiom goes when you buy this frying pan and lid..."Out of the frying pan, and into...your mouth!"

There are some sharp edges and not quite rounded edges on the pan
I have a 30 foot Airstream trailer that I wanted to have a go to sauce pan that would also work as a strainer. Space in a trailer is always a premium, so a multi function well made item is a must. When I found this product, I decided to give it a try. Here is what I found:1. This is a very solid pan with a good lid. Hard to find that combination! It heats well and retains heat This is important for even cooking and also for conserving fuel! Again, trailers have a limited amount of propane that they carry, so getting the most out of it is important. You do pay a price for the even heating and heat retention. That price is in weight. This pan weighs in at 3.3 pounds with the glass lid and 2.4 pounds without the lid.2. When you start with a heavy pot, it is important that the handle be something that is comfortable to use. They did an excellent job in designing the handle with only one exception. The hole they placed in the handle, see picture, is not rounded in enough so has pointed edges that are uncomfortable for me. I have large hands so this may not be a problem for you. See pictures. I wound up fixing this problem by taking a rat file and rounding the edges in more. Now there are no more hard edges to dig into my hand.3. I mentioned the lid, so let’s address the other issue that I had. See picture above and you will see the straining holes in the lid. There are two sets of these and on my pan, one set had sharp edges. See picture. The shinny edges are sharp and act like a grater if you run you finger over them. I took some metal paste used to finish rough surfaces with and polished it. Problem solved.4. Great, but how does it work??? Keep in mind that with any non-stick pan you do NOT want to crank up the heat on high, low and medium works well. Also, ensure that the burner fits your pan for even heating. This pan takes well to pre-heating as long as you do not use high. I found it to cook evenly and I am able to turn off the burner and keep things warm for a long time. Same for cooking pasta. I am able to turn it off before the pasta is fully cooked and the heat retained keeps it hot so that it finishes cooking as if the heat were still on.I have written to the company to let them know what my two issues were and what I did to fix it. That way they can take steps to fix this so it will not be a bother for others. Even with the two issues I had, I still find this pan to be worthy of a recommend, which I do.

Bought twice, Awesome Quality
This is my second purchase from Avacraft. The first was a saucepan with a strainer lid, this was the everyday pan.Love the handles. These pans work great with gas stoves. They have a thick bottom which makes them cool more evenly, they don't tarnish.Honestly the best quality pans.

You MUST follow the care / use instructions.
Have been cooking since I was 11, (52 years). You must follow the care / use instructions. I will say it took some getting use to. Only thing I do change is that I use a small amount of butter for sunny side up or over easy eggs, but otherwise absolutely no complaints. Only thing I would like to see is them make one in true interior base of 14 inches. There was one glitch with this pan, which was, when I received the first one it was chipped near the handle. It was easily replaced and I'm loving it!!!Note that I have purchased three pans and have same review for each simply because I bothered to first spend time looking for qualities I wanted most and then, instead of using them as I have used others... I took time to follow the care / use instructions.
