Very easy to use and works exactly as expected. Slices and removes the pit easily. Well made with an appropriate sized handle. Perfect and better replacement for the one my husband lost which I am still pondering how that happened.Offered at a good price. Would recommend.
Good Quality
Pros:- It's a good size and weight for adult hands- The seed remover works very well- Sturdy construction; it can easily survive a fall off off the countertop onto a tile floor- No rusting, so farCons:- The seed remover is a heavy plastic. Maybe that's ok, but I was expecting it to be metal.- The slicer does its thing but it's tricky getting the actual avocado slices to separate at the end. You kind of end up with a chunky glob that you have to push through manually. Maybe I need more practice. However, if you watch the demo video of the product you don't actually see the slicer moving through the entire fruit; it cuts off exactly where you will run into problems - right at the end.Overall:This is a "fine" product. I paid $13 for it so I'm not expecting miracles. I slice up maybe 2-3 avocados a week so it works for me. If you consume lots of avocados (like 3-4 daily) I would look for better tools - probably ones that do just one thing vs. an all-in-one tool.

This product works well. The problem is with the manufacture of the product. The hoop and wires seem to be stainless steel and clean easily but when you pull the hoop out of the handle you find that they did not use stainless steel on the screw and bolt that holds the tension on the wires. It rusts and corrodes very quickly which causes the wires to break and render the product useless. This is a serious flaw. They should have used a stainless steel screw and bold. This would have allowed the product to last longer. It seems that it was done on purpose, which is a shame. I use this product every day and anticipate its failure sooner than later. Sad.
Sturdy and easy to use to pit and slice avocados. Cut the avocado in half. The plastic end is used to scoop out the pit. The metal end is used to drag against the inside of the rind/peel, slicing avocado into neat, perfect slices as you go. Fast and efficient, and makes a pretty fan of avocado slices if you want.I bought it as a hostess gift for someone that I know makes a lot of guacamole and used avocado in salads often. They loved it.
