The enamel container feels solid and holds a good amount of grease, so I don’t have to empty it all the time. Nice sized bacon grease holder, does a good enough job. -check the size!
I’ll start off by saying be sure to check the size. 6 inches wide(including handle) by about 6 3/4 inches tall. I didn’t check the size & was surprised at how big it was —but that’s totally my fault so that didn’t impact the score.This would be good for any place that cooks a lot of bacon at a time &\or doesn’t use the grease that often so it adds up. It seems very durable. It’s not flimsy, & I don’t feel like I’ll bend or break it.The enamel coating wasn’t perfectly done, but for the size & price point, it’s good enough. There was maybe a little missing from inside the crease area of the handle, as well as a drip & a few bubbles on the outside, but honestly, they are so minor it’s only if someone is extremely nit-picky would they ever really notice —& it may just be I got the only one that had those.Lid: Fits well. It’s nice that you can leave the strainer on the cup & still use the lid.Spatula is a nice touch.Strainer: At first I was worried about a few dots I saw, but it’s the weld spots, because its 2 different pieces put together.I’m only giving it 4 starts because the grease seemed to not go through all the holes in the strainer, but I do realize that could be user error. Also because I can’t say how well the enamel will be applied to other ones.
